About ASE

Welcome to Academy Street School!

Academy Street School is home to 525 students in the heart of Dover, NJ.

ASE emulates the characteristics of a community that takes pride in its tradition of academic achievement.

Our goal is to support students to learn while exercising critical thinking and problem-solving on a daily basis. We welcome the challenges and excitement of a diverse student population.

In addition, we provide each student with an educational experience that inspires and motivates them to be lifelong learners and caring contributors to the world around them. Families, teachers, and administration provide a safe and nurturing environment that meets the individual needs of each student, both academically, socially, and emotionally. 

We consider it a privilege to work with your children every day to guide them in reaching their full potential.  It is our belief that each and every student has a gift to make a positive impact in our community and beyond; we work hard to unlock their strengths day in and day out.

The staff at ASE has high expectations of our students; we hold ourselves to the highest of standards to help all of our students learn and develop into well-versed citizens and critical thinkers.
